(Re)Reading the Garage read from texts around the ideas of remixing, reappropriating, adaptations, and mutations.

The texts were read from the roof of the garage that was written about in A Place, a Place, a Place: Potentials. The use of the space is reimagined depending on those who are using it; from a temporary school, exhibition space, sauna or workspace to a kitchen.

The texts were read in turns and using an auto-tune software that transposes the pitches of the readers voices.

The reading was accompanied by three supplementary texts bound into the intial invitation ‘tickets’ as a way to continue the conversation in the future.
